Learning Spanish Basics
The learning of
Spanish basics are not really that
complicated, compared to most other languages of its
family. It won't take you long to go through the base
level and start toying around with more complex sentence
structures and tenses, if you're persistent enough.
But it is crucial that you remain concentrated when you're
learning those basics, and that you don't miss a thing, because
the language is built around those structures and vocabulary,
you must perfect it before moving on to the more advanced
things.
When people are learning Spanish's basics, they most
commonly reach a problem in two areas, reading, and learning
vocabulary. While issues in both of these can be dealt with
easily, some people become overly worried over not being able
to learn something specific, and their anxiety prevents them
from moving further.
Don't fall for that trap. As soon as you
reach a wall, try to go around it, instead of banging against
it repeatedly. You may find that if you come back to that point
later, it'll be much clearer.

Spanish
The most commonly experienced reading problem in beginners
who're learning Spanish basics is linked to vocabulary. A lot
of people stutter when reading a sentence with a lot of unknown
words, trying to work out the meaning of every single one
before moving on. Don't approach the problem that way.
Instead, when you reach a new word, make a mental note (or
leave a small tick with your pencil, if appropriate), try to
read out the word to the best of your abilities, using the
knowledge you have so far, and move on.
You'll often find out that by the time you've reached the
end of the sentence, you already have an idea what its general
meaning is, despite not knowing a word or two. What's
even better, you can often guess the meaning of those
problematic words from the sentence's context. But remember, in
order to accomplish that, you need to overcome this barrier,
and learn to read sentences to the end.
Another commonly encountered problem in beginners is
learning new words. This is probably the most troublesome task
when learning any new language, because it's repetitive and
monotonous, and doesn't give you much sense of progress.
Spanish's basics cannot be understood without proper
vocabulary knowledge though, so it's important to go through
that. A technique which some people use is to write words in
columns of two. Spanish words on one side, and their
translations on the other, and use this to learn them. Simply
cover one half of the page with your hand, and test yourself.
Repeat the more troublesome words as often as needed.
The best
part about this technique is that you can apply it
pretty much anywhere, so you can utilize your free time
more efficiently. It's best to do this every day for a few
minutes, instead of trying to concentrate on words for
prolonged periods. Another good tip is to associate a
picture in your mind with the words you are trying to
learn.
Learning Spanish can leave you with pleasant memories of the
experience. It's all up to you to make it this way. Remember to
take it with a stress free approach, but still
seriously, and it should flow smoothly. Once you've gone
through Spanish's basics, you'll feel much more
prepared to deal with the higher levels.
